Who is Soloz?

From a casual mobile gamer to a national esports icon — the story of how one player changed the game in Malaysia.

Muhammad Faris bin Zakaria, known worldwide as Soloz, is a Malaysian streamer, vlogger, and former professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Honor of Kings player. Born on 15 May 1993, he began his esports journey in 2016 with the Mysterious Assassin (MyA) team alongside Zyzz, Sh4dow, and 2ez4jepv.

Known as the "King Without a Crown" (Raja Tanpa Mahkota) among esports players, Soloz was a two-time MPL Malaysia League MVP — first in MPL MY/SG Season 2 (2018) and again in Season 4 (2019). He represented Malaysia at the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines, bringing home a bronze medal.

Beyond competition, Soloz is one of Malaysia's most-watched content creators, with a massive following across Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms. In 2022, he was awarded the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan for his contributions to esports.

"I almost can't believe MLBB has brought me this far. It started from just playing mobile games for fun, and now I've achieved so much through it."
